Coaching Terms & Conditions
By submitting payment for coaching services with Faman Consulting Inc. (the “Coach”) as represented by Fope Nkwocha (Fopsy.ca), you agree to the following terms:
1. Description of Coaching
Coaching is a collaborative process designed to help individuals set and achieve personal or business goals. It is not therapy or consulting and does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. Coaching may cover areas such as business, finances, health, relationships, and productivity, with the client responsible for applying insights and actions.
2. Coach-Client Relationship
The Coach adheres to the International Coach Federation Code of Ethics.
Clients are fully responsible for their decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from coaching sessions.
Coaching does not substitute for professional advice, therapy, or legal/medical counsel.
The Coach is not liable for any decisions or results the client experiences during or after the coaching engagement.
Clients are expected to show up fully, communicate openly, and follow through on agreed actions.
3. Services
The coaching program includes 12 weeks of virtual support, typically delivered through 50-minute weekly coaching sessions. Email support between sessions is available, with a 72-business-hour response time. Any additional services beyond the core coaching scope (e.g., reviewing documents or pitches) may be billed separately at a rate of $150/hour.
4. Schedule and Fees
The 12-week coaching program is $2,500 USD, payable as:
One-time payment of $2,500 USD
Or three monthly payments of $850 USD
This is not a subscription — by submitting your first payment, you are committing to the full $2,500 USD program fee. Once the first payment is made, clients are committing to the full $2,500 USD fee, regardless of whether they continue participating in the program.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Due to the personalized nature of the program, all coaching fees are non-refundable and non-cancellable once paid. Clients agree to complete payment in full, regardless of attendance or participation level.
Sessions must be used within 4 months of the program start date. Up to two make-up sessions may be rescheduled within that timeframe in case of emergencies. Missed sessions without proper notice may be forfeited.
6. Confidentiality
All information shared in coaching sessions is confidential and protected, except in cases where disclosure is legally required, involves illegal activity, or where there is risk of harm to self or others. The Coach may use anonymized case studies or success stories for marketing or training purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Coach makes no guarantees regarding outcomes and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the coaching services.
8. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or cancellations due to causes beyond reasonable control (e.g. natural disasters, illness, pandemics, etc.).
9. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt to resolve it in good faith. If unresolved, legal costs will be borne by the non-prevailing party.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
